Crochet Japanese Flag

Here is a pattern to crochet your very own Japanese flag!

(the pattern is slightly different than what was used in the example picture)

sc = single crochet

Crochet in white, Chain 29,

Rows 1-5: sc 28

Row 6: sc 11, change to red, sc 6, change to white, sc 11

Row 7: sc 10, change to red, sc 8, change to white sc 10

Row 8: sc 9, change to red, sc 10, change to white, sc 9

Rows 9-12: sc 8, change to red, sc 12, change to white, sc 8

Row 13: sc 9, change to red, sc 10, change to white, sc 9

Row 14: sc 10, change to red, sc 8, change to white sc 10

Row 15: sc 11, change to red, sc 6, change to white, sc 11

Rows 16-20: sc 28
